Welcome to Kelly Payne Personal Training
Based in Strensham, Worcestershire, I am a 40 year old mum of 4 girls aged 2 to 13. I have been working as a Personal Trainer for over 8 years now after deciding to leave my job in marketing and re-train to allow me to follow a career that I was passionate about and that would fit in with family life.
If I am honest, my passion for healthy living originally came from a desire to look a certain way (like a lot of people). However as I have learnt more, had children and got older my views have changed. For me, being healthy is all about having the energy to keep up with the kids, having a body that is strong enough to do the things I need and want to do without letting me down and being healthy enough on the inside that my immune system can fight off the endless bugs that the kids come home with!
I take the same approach with my clients, focusing on helping them to become stronger, fitter and healthier because these are the things that can actually make a difference to their lives. Looking better is just an added bonus!
As a busy, working mum I know just how hard it can be to fit exercise into a hectic lifestyle and how easy it can be to get stuck in the rut of unhealthy eating. It can be done though! You don't need to be a slave to the gym or spend hours in the kitchen. Making gradual, sustainable changes is the key to success.
Over the last 8 years I have worked with numerous clients, aged 8 - 85, with various goals, including:
- Weight loss
- Getting in shape for a wedding
- Marathon training
- Exercising to improve the symptoms of medical conditions such as arthritis, MS, Chronic pain
- Rehabilitation following an injury or operation
- Improving strength, balance and co-ordination
- Post-natal exercise
- Appropriate and effective exercise and nutrition through the Menopause and beyond
